India, June 23 -- Vijaynath Tiwari, elder brother of actor Pankaj Tripathi, was seriously injured on Sunday in an alleged assault over a land dispute in Gopalganj district, police said on Monday. According to police, the accused has been arrested, and the weapon allegedly used in the attack has been recovered.

According to Gopalganj Superintendent of Police Vinay Tiwari, the incident occurred on June 21 at Belsand Tiwari Tola village under the jurisdiction of Madhopur police station.
