India, Aug. 15 -- Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday slammed the opposition, saying it did not let Parliament run and it was making a "mockery of democracy".

Chouhan also attacked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The agriculture and farmers welfare minister was speaking during an event organised to launch the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC)-based Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) in the Union Territories of Chandigarh and Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
