India, Oct. 22 -- The Old RTR flyover carriageway towards Vasant Vihar from the IGI Airport side has been closed until October 25 after the Delhi Traffic Police detected cracks in the road at two locations, officials said on Wednesday.

According to the Delhi Traffic Police advisory, vehicles heading to Vasant Vihar are being diverted to the adjoining service road, causing traffic congestion and long queues behind the flyover. Officials said after police noticed the cracks, they alerted the Public Works Department (PWD) to repair them as a precautionary measure to prevent accidents.
