India, March 7 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday directed officials to speed up development works across the Capital and warned that any laxity in execution would not be tolerated. Reviewing projects worth about Rs 3,786 crore, the chief minister said there would be no shortage of funds for development, but departments must ensure the timely completion of projects.
The directions were issued during a high-level review meeting at the Delhi Secretariat, where the chief minister assessed development works being carried out under the Chief Minister Development Fund (CMDF), the Delhi Village Development Board (DVDB), and the Trans-Yamuna Area Development Board (TYADB).
