India, June 11 -- Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has announced that a new and upgraded IRCTC website will be launched by July 15, 2026, following complaints from students regarding difficulties faced while booking railway tickets online.

The announcement came after a group of students raised concerns about the current IRCTC portal during an interaction with the minister. One student highlighted problems with the website's CAPTCHA system and other booking-related issues, prompting an immediate response from Vaishnaw.
