India, May 21 -- Tensions escalated in Jaipur as police used water cannons to stop Congress workers protesting against alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG 2026 examination process.

Demonstrators attempted to march toward the BJP state headquarters, demanding accountability and action over allegations surrounding the examination controversy.

The protest was organized by the Rajasthan Congress, with party leaders and workers raising concerns over the alleged NEET-UG paper leak and demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Protesters also called for stronger action against those responsible and questioned the functioning of the National Testing Agency (NTA).
