India, Oct. 23 -- Classical music lovers are in for a treat as New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) in collaboration with SPIC MACAY & SRF Foundation is organising two evenings of classical music concert under the series of "Music in the Park" at Nehru Park, Chankyapuri, from Saturday to Sunday this week, six p m onwards. Entry is free for all, NDMC said on Wednesday.
Giving details, the civic body said classical music evenings will commence with Ashwini Bhide Deshpande (Hindustani Vocal) and Dhruv Bedi (Sitar) on Saturday. The next day Dr N Rajam (Hindustani Violin) and Shashank Subramanyam (Carnatic Flute) will perform accompanied by Akram Khan, Vinay Mishra, Yati Bhagwat, Parupalli Phalgun, Nandini Shankar and Abhishek Mishra.
