India, Nov. 13 -- The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has issued a notice to the Samastipur administration demanding action against a now viral RJD video allegedly using a minor to glorify gun culture. The video, allegedly from a RJD rally addressed by Tejashwi Yadav in Samastipur, showed a minor saying, "if Tejashwi Yadav becomes CM he shall freely roam in the State with his gun."
Sources in the Bihar administration confirmed to The Pioneer that Samastipur District Magistrate is in receipt of a NCPCR notice dated November 10, 2025 as per the provisions authorised to the NCPCR under the Juvenile Justice (JJ) Act.
