India, Sept. 4 -- The National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) has advised Ayurveda colleges and institutions across India to explore and suitably integrate AyurSIM (Ayurvedic Virtual Clinical Simulations) as a supplementary teaching-learning resource for competency-based Ayurveda education.

In a circular, NCISM highlighted AyurSIM as a free-access virtual patient simulation platform that can support the practical and clinical learning requirements of Ayurveda education. The Commission has encouraged institutions to use the platform in settings including clinical skill and simulation laboratories, digital libraries, smart classrooms, tutorial groups, clinical case discussions and faculty development activities.
