India, July 9 -- Myanmar has assured India that it will not allow its territory to be used for activities detrimental to India's security interests, reaffirming its commitment during the 23rd National-Level Meeting between the two countries held in New Delhi.

The two-day meeting, held on July 7 and 8, focused on reviewing the prevailing security situation along the India-Myanmar border. Both sides stressed the importance of maintaining peace, stability and security in the border areas while strengthening cooperation to address cross-border challenges.
