India, April 16 -- The long-awaited Mukarba Chowk underpass in North Delhi is nearly complete and is expected to be opened to the public within the next few days, offering major relief to commuters facing chronic traffic congestion at one of the city's busiest intersections.

Public Works Department Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh conducted an on-site inspection of the project on Wednesday and reviewed the final stages of construction. Officials informed him that around 98 per cent of the work has been completed, with finishing touches currently underway.
