India, May 12 -- Justice Dwarka Dhish Bansal of the Madhya Pradesh High Court was recently seen cycling to court after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal urging citizens to reduce fuel consumption amid global energy concerns.
The incident was captured in an Instagram reel where Justice Bansal explained that his decision was inspired by the Prime Minister's message on fuel conservation. He said he wanted to encourage people to adopt cycling for short-distance travel of 1-2 kilometres whenever possible.
Justice Bansal stated that he felt it was appropriate to lead by example by cycling to the High Court from his residence. He added that such small lifestyle changes can contribute to fuel savings and promote environmental sustainability...
