India, Oct. 12 -- As the Delhiites await clarity over celebrating this Diwali with firecrackers, albeit with certain riders, various enforcement and monitoring protocols have already been planned for execution, including a dedicated control room to receive complaints of violations during the festive period.
Sources in the Delhi Government told The Pioneer that citizens will be encouraged to report violations through online platforms such as Sameer App, Green Delhi App, and other platforms to strengthen the enforcement. An awareness campaign to educate people about the permissible type of green firecrackers will also be launched through various media platforms as the festival of lights remains a week later.
