India, May 22 -- MG Motor India, a joint venture between China's SAIC Motor and the Sajjan Jindal-promoted JSW Group, has emerged as a key driver in the country's accelerating electric vehicle (EV) transition. Its sales momentum reflects both rising consumer acceptance and a maturing EV ecosystem. The company reported EV sales of 61,171 units in 2025, more than doubling its 2024 tally of 28,882 units - marking a sharp 111 percent year-on-year growth.
