India, July 18 -- Police in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut have arrested four people, including the wife of a private school owner, after uncovering an alleged murder conspiracy that investigators say was staged to look like a fatal snakebite. The victim, 32-year-old school operator Sachin Kumar, was found dead at his home, with the family initially believing he had died after being bitten by a venomous snake.

According to the police investigation, Kumar was allegedly sedated before being killed, and the accused later used a snake in an attempt to mislead investigators into treating the death as a natural incident.
