India, Feb. 24 -- The Standing Committee of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) on Monday cleared several public interest proposals and directed officials to immediately implement all announcements made in the 2026-27 municipal budget.

The meeting was chaired by Satya Sharma, Chairperson of the Standing Committee, who emphasised that schemes announced in the budget must be executed without delay. She warned that any laxity in compliance would not be tolerated.
