India, May 26 -- Kamrup District witnessed extensive public participation during the Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan conducted under the ongoing Jan Jatiya Garima Utsav 2026, with nearly 4,000 citizens taking part in Jan Sunwai programmes, health camps and awareness activities across remote and rural areas of the district.

The week-long campaign, organised from May 18 to 25, was conducted across all four Development Blocks of the district and covered 64 villages through 34 Adi Sewa Kendras. The outreach initiative engaged a wide section of the population, including women, youth, senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
