India, April 29 -- A massive fire broke out in a residential apartment at Ghaziabad's Indirapuram area on Tuesday morning, triggering panic after flames rapidly spread across multiple floors of the building.
The incident occurred at the Gaur Green Avenue housing society around 8:50 am, when a fire erupted in a flat located on the ninth floor. Within minutes, strong winds helped the blaze spread to several adjoining floors, sending thick black smoke billowing into the sky.
Eyewitness visuals showed flames engulfing parts of the high-rise, with smoke visible even from the Delhi-Meerut Expressway, raising alarm among nearby residents.
