India, June 20 -- A 32-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death during a scuffle among passengers while attempting to board the Yoga Express at Shahdara railway station in east Delhi today, police said.

The incident occurred on Platform No. 3 amid a rush of passengers trying to board the train. According to police, an argument broke out among commuters, which quickly escalated into a physical altercation.

The victim was identified as Pankaj Dhama, a resident of Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh. Preliminary investigations suggest that he was assaulted with punches and kicks by fellow passengers during the scuffle.
