Maharashtra Govt signs MoU with Cleveland Clinic
India, June 11 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday announced that the Government of Maharashtra has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cleveland Clinic, Brookfield Asset Management and Arodhan Health City to develop the Navi Mumbai International MediCity (NMIMC), a healthcare, research and innovation ecosystem for India.
The project will see a global investment of USD 1.2 billion, spread over 250 acres, and is expected to create 10,000 jobs. Cleveland Clinic will be the anchor partner for the initiative, which aims to integrate world-class patient care with medical education, research, AI, genomics and innovation at scale.
