Bhopal, June 15 -- Madhya Pradesh is currently grappling with a serious administrative crisis as several districts remain without key officials, leading to a noticeable vacuum in governance.
In Datia, for instance, it has been over 14 days since the district has had a formally appointed Collector. Following the retirement of Collector Sandeep Kumar Makin on May 31, the responsibilities of the post have been temporarily handed over to the Chief Executive Officer, Akshay Temrwal.
This dual burden has disrupted the routine functioning of the district, as managing both administrative duties and developmental work simultaneously is proving to be unsustainable.
