India, Aug. 6 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu on Wednesday chaired a meeting to explore ways of showcasing Delhi's heritage, art, and design traditions.

The LG pitched the development of the capital's own iconic global cultural events, driven by public-private partnerships. He called for a dedicated focus on strengthening the city's night economy and directed DDA to explore how its existing spaces can be used for cultural and creative activities.

The meeting was held in the presence of the DDA Vice Chairman and the Secretary of the Tourism Department.
