India, April 14 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu on Monday said the Delhi Traffic Police has launched Project SANGAM, a new initiative aimed at improving traffic management through community participation and coordinated governance.

The project, described as Synergistic Action and Networked Governance for Area Mobility, focuses on resolving local traffic issues by bringing residents and civic agencies onto a common platform. The Lieutenant Governor said the initiative follows his recent review and guidance to strengthen traffic systems in the Capital.
