India, June 11 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu has approved land transfer to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to install a lift at Rohini West Metro station, a move that will facilitate commuters along with patients and attendants visiting BSA Hospital in the area.

In addition to this, accelerating the National Capital's clean energy infrastructure, the LG has also approved the allotment of Gram Sabha land measuring 9 bighas in Issapur Village, South-West District, for the setting up of a 66KV/11KV solar pooling substation. The land belonging to the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has been allotted to the power department, Delhi government, free of cost on a lease basis for a fixed tenure of 99 years.
