India, June 19 -- Leh Police, following reliable intelligence, have broken up a suspected network involved in religious conversion activities in Ladakh and arrested eight people on Tuesday. This operation focused on stopping the recruitment of local youth and proselytisation efforts in the remote areas of Zanskar, Changthang, and the Aryan Valley. Police have filed FIR No. 126/2026 at Leh Police Station under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
