India, July 19 -- Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh on Saturday said a request for land for the Savitri Cinema half-flyover has been approved by the DDA, and the tendering process is expected to commence soon.

"The Delhi Government had requested land from the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to begin construction of the Savitri Cinema half-flyover. Recently, the approval for land has been given, after which we will start construction work on the ground after issuing a tender," Singh said. The PWD had approved the project in December last year, along with the Modi Mill flyover's integration with the Kalkaji Temple road.
