India, May 12 -- The death toll in the suspected medical negligence case following Caesarean deliveries in Kota has risen to four, intensifying outrage and protests outside government hospitals in the city.
Two more women died within 24 hours at JK Lon Hospital after undergoing C-section surgeries, adding to earlier fatalities reported at the Government Medical College Hospital.
Eight other women remain in critical condition, all reportedly suffering from severe kidney and urinary complications following post-operative infections linked to the deliveries.
The incident has sparked widespread anger among families, who have refused to accept the bodies of the deceased and staged protests outside the hospital, demanding strict action again...
