India, Sept. 29 -- Korean filmmaker Na Hong-jin's sci-fi thriller "Hope", which premiered in the main competition at the Cannes Film Festival this year, will hit Indian theatres on October 23.

The film was originally scheduled for release in September but was postponed to complete the certification process. Its English version has now been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) without cuts, while certification for the Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions is underway.

Set in a remote port town, "Hope" follows a village police chief and his rookie deputy as they try to protect their community from a mysterious creature after wildfires cut off all communication. Meanwhile, a local hunting party finds itself being hun...
