Kerala HC judges inspect Thrissur mental health centre
India, July 27 -- Kerala High Court judges on Sunday visited the Government Mental Health Centre at Aranattukara in Thrissur to review the facilities and overall conditions at the institution, officials said.
Justices Devan Ramachandran and Basant Balaji inspected various sections of the hospital and interacted with officials during the visit.
Officials said the judges were accompanied by the amicus curiae appointed by the High Court in connection with a case relating to the condition of the mental health centre.
Speaking to people, including reporters gathered at the institution, Justice Ramachandran said substantial improvements were required.
