Kejriwal seeks PM meeting, urges option of pure petrol alongside E20 fuel
India, July 14 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking a meeting to discuss concerns surrounding the nationwide rollout of E20 petrol.
In his letter, Kejriwal urged the Centre to allow fuel stations to offer both pure petrol and E20 petrol, giving consumers the freedom to choose the fuel best suited to their vehicles. He also argued that E20 petrol should be priced lower than regular petrol, claiming that ethanol-blended fuel delivers comparatively lower mileage.
Kejriwal said he wants to present technical concerns related to E20 fuel and share feedback collected from vehicle owners. He added that the AAP has launched an online campaign inviting people to report their experience...
