India, June 6 -- A sleeper coach of the Delhi Vaishno Devi Katra Special train developed a structural crack and partially separated shortly after departing Ludhiana railway station on Saturday, causing panic among passengers. No injuries were reported in the incident.

According to railway officials, the S-2 sleeper coach suffered a structural failure near the toilet section, causing a portion of the coach body to cave in. Toilet fixtures, including seats, reportedly fell onto the tracks as the damaged section gave way.

Passengers said they experienced a sudden and strong jolt as the train began moving, leading many to fear a derailment. Several passengers quickly exited the affected coach as railway authorities rushed to the scene.
