India, June 16 -- The controversy surrounding the upcoming film Kala Hiran has escalated further after producer Amit Jani issued a legal notice to veteran actor Govind Namdev, demanding a public apology and Rs.50 lakh in compensation.

The dispute began after Govind Namdev publicly distanced himself from the project, stating that the final teaser and promotional material did not reflect the version of the film he had originally agreed to work on. He also alleged that he felt misled by the makers regarding the storyline.
