India, Oct. 26 -- Allegations of cross voting in the Rajya Sabha polls have apparently overshadowed celebrations prompting the National Conference (JKNC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership to simultaneously deny the charges on Saturday.
Out of four Rajya Sabha seats, the ruling National Conference won three while BJP sprung a surprise by winning one seat despite having 28 MLAS in its kitty in a 88-member legislative assembly.
J-K BJP president Sat Sharma defeated NC candidate Imran Nabi Dar by securing 32 votes.
