India, July 10 -- Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has said that Jharkhand's identity should extend beyond its mineral wealth and emphasised the need to build a knowledge-driven economy powered by research, innovation and technology.

Inaugurating the two-day National Stakeholders Consultation in the national Capital, Soren said that the integration of the State's traditional knowledge with modern technologies would drive the development of both Jharkhand and the country. "Jharkhand should be known not only for its mines, but also for its minds," said the Jharkhand CM.
