India, July 11 -- A shocking new twist has emerged in the Jaipur murder case, with the maternal uncle of a 23-year-old law student accused of orchestrating her mother's murder alleging that she was also responsible for her father's death last year.

The accused, Ayushi Sharma, a final-year LLB student, is currently in police custody for allegedly conspiring to kill her mother, Neeraj Sharma, by hiring contract killers and staging the murder as a road accident. Police have said the motive behind the crime was to secure a compassionate government job and gain control of the family's property.
