India, Aug. 15 -- Iranian President's proposed India visit comes amid heightened regional tensions and Tehran's call for a greater diplomatic role for New Delhi. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is scheduled to visit New Delhi in September to attend the 18th BRICS Summit, according to Iranian sources, bringing Tehran's leadership to India at a time of heightened tensions in West Asia.
