India, Sept. 26 -- A two-day workshop titled "Blending Ancient Wisdom with Modern Cognitive Science" was conducted by the Indian Navy's Institute of Naval Safety and Training (INST) at Kochi from September 23-24, 2025. Led by Capt. Amit Singh of the Safety Matters Foundation, the workshop explored how safety principles rooted in ancient Indian wisdom can be effectively applied to modern safety practices. On Day One, participants examined cultural dimensions such as power distance and mindfulness, drawing parallels with concepts from Indian scriptures.
