India, June 15 -- IndiGo on Monday issued a travel advisory for passengers after adverse weather conditions disrupted flight operations in Delhi amid a red alert for thunderstorms and rainfall issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

In a statement, the airline said flight schedules were being impacted due to inclement weather and advised passengers to check their flight status before leaving for the airport.

The airline acknowledged that extended waiting times on the ground and onboard aircraft could cause inconvenience and assured travellers that its crew and ground staff were working to assist affected passengers.
