India, May 4 -- The Indian Navy submarine INS Sindhukesari arrived at the Port of Colombo for an operational turnaround, marking another step in growing maritime cooperation between India and Sri Lanka.

According to the Sri Lanka Navy, the submarine reached Colombo on Sunday and was accorded a traditional naval welcome.

During its stay, the crew of INS Sindhukesari will participate in a range of engagements organised by the Sri Lanka Navy, including interactions and visits to prominent tourist locations across the island nation.
