India, July 11 -- An Indian diplomat lodged a strong objection after an incorrect map of India was displayed during a seminar in Bangladesh's capital, Dhaka, reiterating that Jammu and Kashmir is an "integral and inalienable" part of India.

The incident took place during a seminar titled "Rebuilding Trust, Renewing Regional Integration: Pathways for Revitalising SAARC" at the Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS). The map was displayed as part of a presentation by former Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Ahmed Tariq Karim.

Pooja Kumari Jha, Second Secretary (Political and Information) at the Indian High Commission in Dhaka, immediately objected to the depiction, stating that the map shown was incorrect....
