India, Feb. 13 -- In a significant move for the global dairy sector, India is set to host the prestigious IDF World Dairy Summit (WDS) 2027. An agreement to this effect was formally exchanged on Thursday between Dr Meenesh Shah, Chairman of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), and Laurence Rycken, Director General of the International Dairy Federation (IDF).

The ceremony took place in the capital during the Indian Dairy Association's 52nd Dairy Industry Conference. The event was graced by Chirag Paswan, Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, and Professor SP Singh Baghel, Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying.
