India, May 13 -- India is set to host the BRICS Foreign Ministers' Meeting in New Delhi on May 14-15 under its 2026 chairship of the expanded bloc, amid growing geopolitical tensions in West Asia and increasing calls for reforms in global governance.

The high-level meeting will be chaired by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and is expected to bring together foreign ministers and senior representatives from BRICS member and partner nations. Delegates are also scheduled to call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the summit.

The gathering marks the first major ministerial-level engagement under India's current BRICS chairship and is expected to shape the agenda for the BRICS Leaders' Summit later this year.
