India, March 22 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday held talks with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, extending greetings on the occasions of Nowruz and Eid while also addressing the rapidly evolving security situation in West Asia.
PM Modi strongly condemned attacks on essential infrastructure, underlining the risks they pose to both regional stability and the continuity of global supply chains, during the call. He further emphasised the importance of maintaining freedom of navigation and keeping vital maritime routes open, including the Strait of Hormuz.
