India, Aug. 4 -- The Government on Monday invited applications for the allocation of 2026-27 import quotas for products like dates, marble, and aluminium ingots under the duty concession provisions of the India-Oman free trade agreement.

Under the comprehensive economic partnership agreement (CEPA), India has granted quota-based tariff concessions to certain Omani goods such as dates, marble, copper weld wire, aluminium ingots, billets and wires, and certain petrochemical products, such as ethylene glycol, linear alkylbenzenes, and low-density polyethene.

The pact came into force from June 1.
