India, March 4 -- India has relocated Indian students who were in Tehran to safer locations outside the city. In an advisory, the Indian Embassy in Tehran said it has made arrangements for their transportation, food, and accommodation. It added that a small number of students who declined the Embassy's offer remain in Tehran.
The Embassy has urged other Indian students and Indian nationals who still remain in Iran to stay where they are, remain indoors as far as possible, and stay away from windows.Meanwhile, the shipping regulator has issued an advisory for maritime operators to assess voyage-specific risks, amid escalated military actions involving the US, Israel and Iran that threaten disruptions of major trade routes.
