India, Aug. 26 -- The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has constituted a five-member External Inquiry Committee to investigate the circumstances leading to the death of MSc Physics student Rishikesh Kumar, two days after nearly 300 students protested on campus demanding an independent inquiry into his death. The institute has asked the committee to submit its report within two weeks. The development comes after outraged students staged protests on campus, prompting the administration to order suspension of classes on Monday.
