India, June 13 -- An Indian Air Force (IAF) AN-32 transport aircraft crashed and caught fire while landing at the Air Force Station in Jorhat on Saturday morning, triggering an emergency response operation within the military base.
According to initial reports, the aircraft went down inside the Air Force Station premises during the landing process. The impact led to a fire, with thick smoke seen rising from the crash site. Emergency teams were immediately deployed to contain the blaze and secure the area.
