HM Amit Shah begins Gujarat Border visit to review security along Indo Pak frontier
India, May 29 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday began his visit to areas along the international border in Gujarat's Kutch district, where he is set to review security arrangements and interact with Border Security Force personnel.
During the visit, Shah inaugurated the G-7 border outpost and headed to key strategic locations along the Indo-Pak border. He is also scheduled to inspect the control room at OP Tower 1170 and visit the strategically important Harami Nalla creek area in Kutch.
According to officials, the Union minister will chair a high-level review meeting on border security and interact with senior BSF officers and local authorities. Shah will also plant a sapling at a jetty point in the Harami Nalla region during ...
