India, June 18 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah met US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor in New Delhi, with discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in key security areas, including counter-terrorism and counter-narcotics efforts.

According to Shah's post on X, the meeting involved detailed deliberations on enhancing India-US collaboration in tackling terrorism, drug trafficking and organised crime networks, while also improving border security mechanisms.

The Home Minister reiterated India's commitment under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership to further strengthen the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership for mutual benefit and global security cooperation.
