India, May 31 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his official residence in New Delhi. The meeting marked Sarma's first formal interaction with the Prime Minister after assuming office as Chief Minister for a second consecutive term.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister briefed the Prime Minister on the initial progress and priorities of the newly formed NDA 3.0 Government in Assam. Sarma also expressed gratitude to PM Modi for his continued support and leadership, while seeking his guidance and blessings for the State's future development initiatives.
